Difference Between Air Cooled & Water Cooled Chiller:-

Air Cooled

  • In Air Cooled The condensing medium is used- Air
  • Simple construction, Initial cost is high but maintenance cost is low
  • The hot air Can easily Dispose
  • No handling Problem
  • Air Process low thermal conductivity and condenser capacity this system is very low.
  • No corrosion due to Air
  • Do not require sophisticated piping arrangement for carrying the Air
  • Air Cooled condenser used low capacity operation
  • It requires more power for circulation of Air and high power fan are noisy

Water Cooled

  • In water Cooled condensing medium is used- Water
  • Complicated construction, initial cost is low but maintenance cost is High
  •  Problem of disposal used Water (unless there is a recirculation system)
  •  Water cooled condenser are difficult to handle.
  • High thermal conductivity of water favors High heat transfer capacity.
  • Higher Chance of fouling effect. Water causes corrosion of condenser tubes.
  • Piping arrangement is required for carrying cooling water.
  • The water cooled condenser used for large capacity plants.
  • It requires less power to circulation on water.

Air Cooled Water /Glycol chiller

An air-cooled refrigeration system is typically located outdoors and is subject to its surrounding ambient temperatures. In hot summer months, compressor efficiencies are diminished due to sweltering temperatures.

In some cases, air-cooled refrigeration systems are located indoors. If the compressor room is not properly ventilated, hot exhaust from the condenser may re-enter the condenser intake and create a cycle  of perpetual overheating.

This system has several essential components including:
Scroll/ Reciprocating/ Screw Compressor
Condenser (shell & tube type)
Shell & tube/ PHE Evaporator Suitable for application requirement.
Make-up water pumps
SS-304 SASG make reservoir suitable for application requirement.
Electronic/ Thermostatic Expansion valve is available as customer
choice.
Available in Multiple Refrigeration Circuits.

Water Cooled Water /Glycol Chiller

Some users may prefer these chillers because of the smaller size they occupy as compared to air-cooled chillers. These chillers also feature higher efficiency  and last longer than the mentioned alternative. Those who would like the equipment to be placed indoors may find the water-cooled machine desirable.

Dear All Customers,
Below are the safety Parameters for UV LED, Water Cooled UV system & regular maintenance:
  1. Use the R.O/distilled Water/Good quality water and change in a month. (If Water Quality is poor/city water change each week)
  2. We strongly recommended distilled water+ Anti frozen N with 70:30 Ratio.
  3. The pressure of water circulation should be about 20 PSI to 40 PSI (1.2 bar to 2.5 bar)
  4. The Temperature of chilled water should not be less than 200C (In any condition) without confirmation of SASG.
  5. If any case antifrozen N (Mono ethylene Glycol) is not available. We have a facility Rs. 270 per Litre (GST & Courier Charges extra as actual) , Minimum order qty will be 50 Litre.
  6. No warranty inclusive if any chip/diode/uv lamps is burned/ damaged due to poor water quality / physical damage/dirty working environment(should not deposit the dust in huge quantity at panel or LED module)
  7. If have any operation alarm on HMI concern with team SASG and don’t try to run it without resolving the same.
  8. If have any power fluctuation in this condition don’t run the LED without recommendation of team SASG.
  9. Clean the QRC in 15 days for smooth water flow
